Biolic ABG tablets contain biologically active fermented ABG10+® garlic extract, which S-allyl cysteine content is standardized. S-allyl cysteine (SAC) is more stable compound than allicin, which can be found from raw garlic. SAC is watersoluble and has high bioavailability.
The name of ABG10+® extract comes from words Aged Black Garlic. The GMO-free garlic is cultivated and extracted in Spain. Whole garlic cloves are used in the extract, carrier is maltodextrin.
Bacteria or yeasts are not used in fermentation, but garlic is let to ferment with their own enzymes (autolysis) in controlled heat and humidity. The color of garlic turns black, the unpleasant odor is eliminated, and the phenol content of the extract increases up to ten times compared to regular garlic extract.
